Iceland and Greenland - Northern Landscapes Worth Exploring

We recently hosted a group of 31 guests aboard the Seabourn Venture on an expedition from Iceland to Greenland. We sailed from Reykjavik’s city centre to the Westman Islands, and made our first port of call in the scenic island of Heimaey. We crossed the strait with one sea day and then found ourselves immersed in expedition touring by zodiac in the wilderness of East Greenland.

Our journey continued on through stunning fjords and around the southern tip of Greenland. Visiting historic small towns, outports with small populations and rich history. We visited the last Norse settlement at Hvalsey and concluded our expedition in Kangerlussuaq.
